Here is a Renegade® Hoof Boot tip on checking hoof balance on your horse while using Renegade® Hoof Boots.  This works with Renegade® Pro Comp-Glue-On boots, the Renegade® Classic, and the Renegade Viper® model.  Just simply view from the front and sides to see if there is an even amount of hoof wall between the top of the hoof boot shell, and your horse’s harline around the coronet band.

Here is an example showing a hoof with an even amount of hoofwall all of the way around.  The second photo shows that one side is sticking up higher.  This indicates that the hoof is out of balance.  Some horses may grow, or wear their hooves unevenly and this is a quick and simple way to see if something is a little off.

It is always a good idea to pre-fit and check balance before gluing Renegade® Pro-Comp boots on.
