Did you know that we recently upgraded the hook-and-loop material used in our strapping system?
This new material is so much stronger and more durable that riders are reporting that there’s no need to even use the keeper loops when riding in drier conditions!
If you haven’t replaced your straps in a while, now is a great time to do so. All boots come standard with these new, stronger straps (and every pair of boots comes with an Accessory Pack that contains an extra pair of straps as well) and extra straps (made of the same new material) are also readily available to order, either by phone or on our website.
It is suggested that, when cleaning the new straps, a toothbrush or other soft brush be used to clean the material. A stiff brush is too harsh and will pull at the loops. Spray with a hose and/or soak in a bucket, then gentle loosen any residual dirt or sand and rinse. Doing so will extend the life and holding power of the straps.
